It's Springtime!  

It is Field Trip Time!  Important Information

Spring Grade-level Field Trips start this week.  Please double check the dates below.  Many field trips require a packed lunch in disposable containers.  Check with your teacher if you have any questions or concerns.  ImportantStudents in Grades 1 - 4 should wear their YELLOW FIELD DAY SHIRT for field trips.  Students in Grade 5 should wear their NEW 5TH GRADE T-SHIRT for Field trips and the 5th Grade Picnic (But Wear the yellow field day shirt on Field Day).

 

Wednesday, May 17th - 2nd Grade Field Trip - Children's Museum

Thursday, May 18th - 5th Grade Field Trip  - RiverQuest

Tuesday, May 30th - 1st Grade Field Trip - Camp Lutherlyn

Wednesday, May 31st - 5th Grade Field Trip - Fort Pitt Museum/IMAX

Tuesday, June 6th - 4th Grade Field Trip - Carnegie Science Center

 

FIELD DAY IS COMING SOON - THURSDAY, JUNE 1st

 

Ingomar's annual school-wide Field Day is scheduled for Thursday, June 1st.  All students should wear the YELLOW FIELD DAY SHIRT they received earlier this year on June 1st.  More information about Field Day will be coming soon, but remember to (1) apply sunscreen, (2) bring a re-fillable water bottle and (3) bring a packed lunch so you are ready for fun!  Mr. Boronyak has games, inflatables and a fun-filled day planned!

 

5th GRADE PICNIC - WEDNESDAY, JUNE 7th

 

The annual 5th Grade Picnic is scheduled for Wednesday, June 7th.  If you have a 5th Grader, stay tuned for more information about helping with the 5th Grade Picnic and donating food and drink items for lunch during the picnic.  All 5th Grade parents are welcome to volunteer to help with games during the 5th Grade Picnic but YOU MUST HAVE VOLUNTEER CLEARANCES.  If you don't have clearances yet, there is still time to get them before the picnic. Information about obtaining your volunteer clearances is available under the Volunteer link above.

HELP WANTED - COMMITTEE CHAIR VOLUNTEERS

The PTO needs volunteers to chair or co-chair a number of committees for next year. Many of these are positions that can be done from home and outside of the regular school day. If we can't fill the positions, the corresponding event or activity will be cancelled or not offered next year. If you are interested in volunteering or have questions about a particular role, please email ingomarpto@gmail.com.

 

  • Read-A-Thon (1-2 Volunteers Needed)
  • School Board Reporter (1Volunteer Needed)
