Dear IES Families,

Welcome to a brand-new school year at Ingomar Elementary! We hope your summer was full of fun and relaxation—and that you’re as excited as we are to kick off another year of learning, laughter, and growing together.

As your PTO Co-Presidents, we want you to know how grateful we are to be part of such a special school community. At IES, we believe in the power of strong relationships, between families, teachers, staff, and students, to create an environment where every child can thrive. The PTO’s mission is to build those connections and support the experiences that make our school feel like home.

We have a full calendar of events planned this year, from the always-popular Ice Cream Social to Holiday Shoppe, Book Fair, Breakfast Bash, Bingo Night, assemblies, after-school programs, and more. These aren’t just fun activities, they’re opportunities to bring our community together and create lasting memories for our kids.

Here’s how you can get involved:

•Volunteer when you can: Whether it’s an hour here or there, taking the lead on a favorite event, or helping coordinate help through emails, every bit of help makes a difference! We welcome all levels of involvement with no pressure, just appreciation. (Please remember: to volunteer, your PTO activity fee must be paid and you must have active clearances on file with Mrs. Yatcko.)

•Join us at our monthly meetings: We meet the first Friday of every month at 9:30 AM in the Paw Room (next to the library). It’s a relaxed and welcoming space to hear about upcoming events, get updates from Dr. M, and connect with other parents. Kiddos are always welcome too!

Our first meeting is Friday, September 6 at 9:30am.

If you ever have questions, ideas, or just want to say hello, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re here to support the students and faculty, and we’re always open to fresh ideas that help make IES even more amazing.

Thank you for being a part of what makes our school so special.

Here’s to a wonderful school year ahead!

Warmly,

IES PTO Co-Presidents
