Ingomar Elementary Fall 2026 After-School Programs
We are excited to offer a fantastic lineup of Fall 2026 After-School Programs for Ingomar Elementary students! There is something for everyone—from sports and fitness to art, cooking, books, LEGO, games, and more. All programs run from 3:30-4:30 and the students must be picked up from school at 4:30.
โญ REGISTRATION OPENS TUESDAY AT 6:00 PM!
An email with the registration link will be sent Tuesday evening, and the registration link will also be posted on the IES PTO website.
Based on the interest survey, we expect several programs to fill quickly, so we encourage families to register as soon as registration opens!
๐ MONDAY PROGRAMS
Game Time
Grades: K–2nd
Instructor: Mr. Boronyak
Dates: September 14, 21, 28; October 5, 12
Price: $60
Get moving and have a ton of fun with your favorite HPE games, classic favorites, and exciting new challenges! Students will have the opportunity to play a variety of active games that encourage teamwork, sportsmanship, coordination, and plenty of laughter. Each week will bring something new to play, making Game Time the perfect after-school activity for students who love to move, play, and have fun!
๐ถ Dogtown Book Club: A Tail-Wagging Adventure
Grades: 2nd–5th
Instructor: Mrs. Smokovich

Dates: October 19, 26; November 9, 16, 23
Join your friends for a heartwarming journey through Katherine Applegate's Dogtown, where we'll follow the story of Chance, a stray dog searching for a place to call home. We will explore themes of friendship, belonging, courage, and what it truly means to find your pack.
Dogtown is the first book in this exciting series, with the third installment releasing this September—so there's plenty more adventure ahead for readers who fall in love with Chance and his beloved friends!

K-Pop Fun Club

Love K-pop, music, and creativity? ๐คฉ Join Mrs. C and fellow fans for an after-school club filled with music, art, friendship, and fandom fun!
Students will create and trade fan-inspired crafts like trading cards, friendship bracelets, keychains, stickers, collages, and more while sharing their favorite artists and songs.
No K-pop experience necessary—just bring your love of music, creativity, and fandom fun!

Grades: 1st–5th

Join our Running Club and hit the track! Whether you're new to running or a seasoned sprinter, this club is all about fun, fitness, and building endurance.
Challenge yourself, set goals, and improve your running skills while making new friends! This program is also a great way to prepare for the Trick-or-Trot 5K/Fun Run on October 24.

Welcome to LEGO Club, where students can explore their creativity, develop problem-solving skills, and work together to bring their imaginations to life—one brick at a time.
Each week, students will participate in building challenges, free-build sessions, and collaborative projects that encourage teamwork and critical thinking, all while having a blast with friends.

Grades: 1st–5th

Sculpt it. Fold it. Decorate it!
Students will get into the holiday spirit while creating a one-of-a-kind handmade ornament using Sculpey clay and origami techniques. With plenty of room for creativity and personalization, each artist will leave with a festive keepsake made entirely by them! Kickball & Wiffleball / Home Run Derby
Grades: 2nd–5th

In this after-school program, students will play exciting games of kickball and participate in home run derby-style challenges. They will also get to play a mixed kickball/wiffle ball-style game.

Spark your "Young Chefs'" creativity as they design, create, and apply decorating techniques to their own unique festive cupcakes, cakes, pies, and cookies.

Join in for a relaxed, student-led game club where you can play chess and checkers at your own pace. This club is designed for independent play—whether you're a beginner learning the basics or an experienced player looking to sharpen your skills.
Students will have the freedom to challenge classmates, practice strategies, and enjoy friendly competition. Minimal instruction means maximum game time!

Grades: 1st–5th

Students will play quick, fun challenges. You'll have one minute to complete each challenge or get as far as you can!
Not all games will be a competition. Some challenges will focus on teamwork and simply completing the challenge together.

Ready to get cooking?
Junior Chef is a hands-on cooking series designed to build confidence and independence in the kitchen through delicious, kid-friendly recipes.
Each week, students will work with real ingredients and build essential kitchen skills like measuring, chopping, mixing, seasoning, and cooking with heat.
